The FCC charges a $35 application fee for new licenses, renewals and vanity applications. This fee is paid directly to the FCC after an application has been submitted to them, This must be completed at: https://www.fcc.gov/licensing-databases/commission-registration-system-fcc
For the ARRL to submit a renewal application to the FCC on behalf of an individual they charge $15 to non-ARRL members, there is no fee to current ARRL members, we collect the ARRL fee, a check or cash and photo ID are required. Go to: http://www.arrl.org/fcc-license-info-and-forms for more information. Please let me know if you will be attending.
